About Us
A WORD FROM OUR FOUNDER
I started LearnMore to publish the books I couldn't find anywhere else—books that challenge, educate, and occasionally blow your mind.
Our catalog is eclectic, but we're not trying to be everything to everyone. We focus on three specific kinds of work:
-
Original nonfiction that tackles big questions—consciousness, AI, the nature of reality, what it means to be human—with intellectual rigor and no bullshit. We explore ideas that matter. Not because they're trending, but because they're important.
-
Practical education for real life. Business strategies, parenting approaches, sleep science, trauma healing, social media, mental health, dog training, career adaptation. Whatever you're trying to figure out, we bring you substantial guides that actually teach you something.
-
Literature you won't soon forget. Original fiction with psychological depth, contemporary translations that make classical works accessible, and irreverent adaptations that prove ancient stories still hit hard. Whether it's literary fiction or modern horror or science fiction or making ancient classics readable for Gen Z, we believe great storytelling transcends eras and genres.
We also help aspiring authors and people with something to say get their message out to the world in book form. And we help business leaders, coaches, academics, and people with professional or personal brands grow their authority and audience by getting their ideas published. Independently.
INDEPENDENT PUBLISHING FOR INDEPENDENT THINKERS
As a writer, I always found myself on the outside of the mainstream publishing industry, working at its margins, never quite fitting into the corporate molds and stuffy catalogs of traditional publishers. I've always believed in the power of independent publishing to say what needs saying without committee approval or institutional meddling.
Being an independent publisher means we can take risks. We can publish a 40,000-word deep dive on quantum computing and AI alongside a darkly comic Gen Z retelling of the Epic of Gilgamesh. A crash course on social media marketing for small business owners alongside a broad cultural critique based on the Netflix show Black Mirror.
We focus on e-books and digital courses because it keeps our production process more efficient and allows us to deliver our books to you instantly. Select titles from our catalog have print and Kindle editions that are sold separately through Amazon or other retail distributors. See individual product pages for details.
Our content is not for everyone. It's for people who still have a functioning attention span in an age of endless scrolling and brain rot—people who value knowledge and thinking, who believe in depth over dopamine. If you've read this far, that's you.
OUR COMMITMENT TO GIVE BACK
Literacy is essential to being a functioning adult in modern society, and a prerequisite for a healthy democracy. But around half of Americans cannot read above a sixth-grade level—which means they cannot comprehend complex written information at the voting booth, in a medical report, on an insurance form, or on a job application.
That's why we donate a portion of our sales to support literacy in America. Learn more.
